Japan

Keith sent us a couple of pictures from his trip to Japan. He got back last weekend after another 15 hours in the air.

Big Shot

We went to a Big Shot concert last weekend at Penn's Peak. Hot Shot does a Billy Joel tribute concert and actually some of their members have played with Billy Joel at one time or another. Hope you enjoy the video.

Where Were You?

Where were you a year ago? Many of you that read this blog were getting ready to travel to Lancaster to join us in a weekend of celebration. Can you believe that Charlie and Kris have been married that long? I don't know about you but I should go for a Sunday Brunch at the Eden again!!!!!

Enjoying Japan

Keith has been working long hours but also has had some time to enjoy his stay in Japan. Last weekend he went Snowboarding at one of the local resorts and reported that they were getting fresh powder all weekend.

He also has had some time to go shopping and managed to pick up some Pez to add to his collection. Although he had some of the Pez dispensers that he found these are on Japanese cards so they will be a nice addition to the collection. We are looking forward to seeing what he brings home with him.

Long Flight

Well Keith made it to Japan after a 14 hour flight on Japan Air Lines. He is now 14 hours ahead of us so as I write this at 10 am on Sunday it is 12 am Monday morning there. As of last night they had not been issued their cars yet so it has done no exploring but I'm sure that will come shortly. At least we know he made it safely and hope he has a great time while he is there.

Skiing And Boarding

Keith is doing some skiing and snowboarding at Snowshoe in West Virginia this week along with some friends from South Carolina. It looks like they should be enjoying excellent conditions. According to their website there has been 12 inches of new powder since Saturday and 4 inches today. We hope that we will get to see some pictures when they return home this weekend. This pictures is from a previous snowboard trip.

Let There Be Light

Finally added lights to the cabinet!

On The Road Again

Keith has been informed that he will be going to Misawa AFB in Japan for a TDY. He will be leaving around the middle of the month but has no idea how long he is going to be there. Just adds another great experience to his already long list of places he has been.

While he is there we are sure he will be doing a lot of Pez shopping. There are mini Pez that are only released in Japan and hopefully he will be able to find a lot of these little guys. It may be tough to keep in touch other than emails as Japan is 14 hours ahead of us. As I write this before noon on Sunday it is already Monday morning there. Doesn't give us much time to be in the chat rooms together.

Finally

OK So I have been really bad at keeping this page up to date. We have been really busy around here for the last month or so. Christmas came and went and it seemed like we never really stopped to enjoy it. The entire weekend we were running somewhere for another get together with family and friends.

Keith was home for two weeks and spent most of his time working on his Pez collection. His new cabinet was ready for him along with about 100 new Pez that he received for Christmas. Even after he left we still had a lot of work to to getting all the new one entered into the database we keep for him.

While all this was going on our laptop decided to burn up it's motherboard so we had to replace it and move all the files etc. to the new one. We were lucky that the Hard drive was still go and did not lose anything. We now use this old hard drive as a backup in case we have another problem.

Then yesterday the washer began to pump water out onto the floor instead of the drain. So we had to replace the water pump. Being a do-it-yourselfer type, Alan decided he could tackle this and after a few phone calls found the parts he needed. We can report that the patient has recovered and is pumping into the drain again.

We will try to be better at this and keep up with our postings better than we have over the last month.

First Real snow

Last night we received about 2 inches of the white stuff followed by freezing rain and sleet. I have to say that the state did a good job this time as this mornings commute was not a problem. It would be nice if the snow would stay around for Christmas but it looks like more rain is in the forecast. Just so it doesn't snow on Monday when Keith is planning on driving home. We also don't want any bad weather on Christmas as we have a lot of people driving here to help us celebrate. Right now the plan is to have 10 people here that day so we would have a lot of food to eat if the weather turned bad and no one could make it here. Of course it would leave more presents for us to open. If your not here when your name is called..............

Christmas Will Be Here Too Soon

We have been very busy with the holidays coming and projects we have around the house. Since it has been a while since we posted I guess we need to do some catch up.

Thanksgiving came and went before we knew what happened. Alan managed to get sick that week so he stayed home while everyone else went to Barb's brother's for the day. So while they were spending time together Keith and Alan were on the phone with each other, Alan having a Burrito and Keith eating Taco Bell.

Now it's on to the Christmas rush. Last week Alan found time to get the decorations up outside and we have completed a lot of shopping. This Internet has sure helped us get this done. This last weekend we took the truck to pickup Kristin's tree. Now we just have to find time to get our own tree up and decorated.

Keith's leave has been approved so he will be coming home on the 22nd and returning to SC on the 4th. I don't know all of his plans but he has at least 4 Christmas celebrations to attend. It all starts on Christmas Eve when we plan on going to Danville to party with some old friends. Then on Christmas we will have 10 people here for the day. On the following Saturday Kris will have her annual Christmas Party and on Sunday we all go to Barb's brothers for his Christmas celebration. Party On!!

Myrtle Beach

Keith is spending the weekend at the Pez convention in Myrtle Beach SC. He went over yesterday afternoon and will be driving back on Sunday. He is staying at the same hotel we all stayed at last year. We had received a coupon for a return visit which he used, however it was not for the same type of room we had last year, it was an upgrade. He has a two room suite facing the ocean. When we talked to him tonight he was sitting on his balcony. Life can be tough.

Anyway as always he had a good time and picked up some nice Pez. I think we called him three or four times already to see what he found. It's nice to have free calling on our cell phones! If you want to know what he bought we will post it on our Pez Blog.

Star Trek

Although we normally post Pez news on our Pez Blog this item is for all you Trek fans out there. Pez has just released this Gift Set from the original TV series. It is kind of a cross collectible not only for Pezhead but for Trekies as well. We, of course, have our set already!

Busy As Usual

We seem to have very little free time between work and getting things done around the house. Didn't even seem to have time to even post here. I guess it doesn't help that I have this blog, the Pez blog and the MySpace Pezheads blog. Too many blogs, too little time.

Anyway two weeks ago we finally had time to get together with Alan's brother and his wife to look at the wedding photos. Hey it's only been about six months. We had a great time that day and were able to catch up on a lot of things.

This last Sunday Barb's parents came over for the day. Her dad helped with a couple of projects around the house, which he always seems to do when he's here. He and Alan both enjoy puttering with stuff like that so it's just an excuse to get together.

Our next trip is planned for the 18th when we plan to go to a Pez Gathering in Kutztown PA. We are going to meet up with our friends Teresa and Norm and their kids. Their daughter Jess began collecting last year and this will be their first Pez Convention. We can't wait!

Shawfest 2008

We made to South Carolina with no problems and Hanna never made it this far inland so the weather has been very nice. Friday we went to some antique shops in the morning ( found nothing to bring home ) and spent the afternoon at the State Museum. Today we got up early and went to the Air Show at Shaw AFB. The show was great and it was nice to be able to share it with Keith. The highlight of this show was the flight demonstration of the FA/22 Raptor and the B1 Bomber. Keith had seen the 22 fly bet never seen the things they showed it could do today. This is an amazing plane and flies circles around anything else in the sky.

We also spent some time Pezzing. Check our Pez blog for more information.

Tomorrow morning it's up early again to get on the road. It's a nine hour trip unless we stop for something. So we will most likely just drive straight home.

Maybe A New Pezhead ?

If you have been following this Blog you know our friends Teresa and Norm are in the process of adopting a son from Vietnam. Well they are over there now and we have received word that the final paperwork will be completed next week and Derek will officially be part of their family. We could not be happier for them and wish them all the best. They will remain in Vietnam until the end of the month but we can't wait to see them arrive home.

Since we have been part of converting their daughter Jess to a Pezhead we fell it is only fitting that we begin work on Derek soon after he arrives home. It can be much easier to convert a young mind to the PezSide. (insert evil laugh here).

Guess I have to start some shopping! Where's that tote of extra Pez?

Into The Storm

We have plans to go to visit Keith this weekend leaving Thursday morning and returning Sunday. Our plan was to go to the Air Show at Shaw on Saturday but it looks like that may not happen now. It seems that one of those wonderful Atlantic storms is heading right for the same place we are going. Well we have never let a little rain stop us so we still plan to head south Thursday. I guess we might just have to sit in the hotel and talk Pez all weekend. At least we are inland and will not get the brunt of the storm. If we are really lucky it will slow down and not hit until Sunday. Wish us luck!

Time To Catch Up

It has been a full weekend as we completed some home improvements and then went running with Kris. We have been working on a remodel which began about two weeks ago with the painting of the family room and kitchen. We wanted to add a little interest to the family room so we decided to put a panel wall on the far wall of the room. After getting the boards primed and painted this week we began installation on Saturday night. Most of it was put up before we went to bed and the rest was completed this morning. We still need to fill the nail holes, put the baseboards back and hang some pictures but these are little things that will not take that long to complete.

We needed to get this work completed early as we had arranged to meet Kris at the Hershey Auto Museum before noon. If you have been keeping up with us you know she started her new job last week. The project she is working on required some photos of the interiors of cars from the 50's and also some photos of old emergency vehicles. So this seemed the best place to take the photos she needed. If you are interested who she works for you can check their website at http://www.aeseducation.com/

After we finished there we decided to go over to Mt Gretna to their annual Arts and Craft fair. Not only was this a great show but it is in a beautiful setting. We even managed to get a little Christmas shopping completed. By the time we were finished at the show the day was too so it was back home and back to work tomorrow.

Meanwhile Keith was doing a little shopping of his own. Check out our PEZ Blog to see what he was up to.

A Different Collection

Keith added to a different collection today when he qualified for the Small Arms Expert Marksmanship Ribbon. He made 48 out of 50 shots on target.

Qualification as expert with the rifle (M-16) requires 43 hits out of 50 rounds on various sized silhouettes, simulating targets at different ranges. The target itself is 25 meters away, with silhouettes simulating targets at 50 meters, 100 meters, 150 meters, 200 meters, 250 meters and 300 meters. 10 shots are fired each from the standing-barricaded, kneeling-barricaded, prone-unsupported position, prone-supported position with 10 shots being fired while wearing a gas mask and prone-supported position with 10 shots being fired with the weak hand.

As I am sure you have read before we are very proud of him and what he is doing. ( It's a parent's right to say this as much as we want to.)

Family Update

Kris and Charlie are finally getting caught up from the wedding. Kris has found place for most of the gifts they received and the rest will be going into the new hutch that her grandfather built for them. This matches a Pie Safe that he made for Kris many years ago that she now uses in the dining room as well. It's nice to have a Grandpa with this type of talent!

Other news from Kris is that see will be starting a new job next Monday. She will be doing graphic arts and photography for AES. They make educational materials including DVD that are used along with textbooks. This is the type of work she has always wanted to do and she should really enjoy it.

Keith continue to expand his Pez collection looking for deals he can find on EBay along with other web sites. In fact it sometimes becomes a family affair as we sit at our PC and watch an item as it goes off sale to see if he won it. One of his most recent purchase was an Indian Chief from 1976. All I will say is that it turned out to be a rare "Made In Hong Kong" Pez that the seller did not know he had. He ended up getting it for about 15% of the actual value. You can see it pictured on our Collecting Pez blog.

Still Can Rock

Last night we attended a Kenny Loggins concert at Penn's Peak. We only bought our tickets last week but ended up with front row center. It was like having a private show as there was no one in front of us and the stage was less than 5 feet away. However for about the last 10 minutes of the show everyone was on their feet and moving forward making us just a member of the crowd and adding to the fun of the evening.

For those of you who might think you are too young to know who Kenny is his songs include I'm All Right, Footloose, Highway To The Danger Zone, Your Mama Don't Dance and the album Return To Pooh Corner.

They would not allow anyone to bring Video Cameras into the performance so I don't know where these came from. I guess I pushed the wrong button in the dark. Enjoy..... :)

Good, Better, Not So Great!

This weekend we continued our recent run on having a life by attend a play, with Danny and Darlene, at one of the local theaters. The performance was "A Murder Is Announced" which was an adaptation from the book by Agatha Christie. We all felt that it was a GOOD performance and look forward to going to this theater again.

On the BETTER side our friends Teresa and Norm have received their final approval for the adoption of their son from Vietnam. This process has been going on longer than they care to remember and it is a thrill for all of us to know they will soon be traveling to be united with their son.

This afternoon we had to run some errands so while we were out we stopped at all our favorite Pez stores to try to find some new dispensers that have been released recently. These include new Winnie The Pooh's, Madagascar's and College Footballs. After checking all these stores we came home empty handed. NOT SO GREAT a day for the collectors. Although we did not do the PDOJ I am sure that Teresa and Norm have not stopped doing their own Dance Of Joy so all in all it was a great weekend!

Active Weekend

Somehow a normally quiet no plans weekend turned into going all weekend. It started Saturday afternoon when Darleen called Barb to see if she wanted to go to the movies. So they decided to meet for the 4:30 show. I along with Darleen's husband Danny caught up with them for supper and as seems to me our latest MO ( see last weekend) we sat and talked until they closed the place and kicked us out. So after standing on the sidewalk for about 45 minutes we headed home. When we got up Sunday morning we found out that Keith had purchased some very old Pez from a lady who lived in Central PA near were we used to live. Since these had to be picked up it was time for another road trip. As we were driving there I called another friend who we had not seen since the wedding. We arranged to meet with him and his wife at the Dairy Queen in Selinsgrove after we picked up the Pez. Although we did not close the place down we did sit and talk for over two hours before the hour drive home. All in all a busy day.

Speaking of Pez the ones we picked up included one of the Holy Grail of Pez the Full Body Robot for the 50's. These are becoming one of the harder ones to find. I got to do the PDOJ myself today when I found the Disney Fairies release. We had the three from Europe but there is a different fairy in the US release and the dress color is different. Gotta love the marketers at Pez.

Looking Up

For those of you who like looking at the stars this is a good week for looking up. In the South just above and to the left of the moon is Jupiter. Jupiter is at 'opposition' which means that it is directly opposite the Sun as seen from Earth and the closet to us this year. If you have a good set of binoculars and let you eyes adjust you can see one or two very small pinpoint lights around Jupiter. These are some of Jupiter's largest moons and will change position every night as they move around the planet. I was just out and was able to spot one just to the right of Jupiter.

Also if you look west just after sunset you will see Mars and Saturn just above the horizon. They will be within about 1 degree of each other but will set soon after the sun so look quickly. It's also a great time to look at the Moon while you have the binoculars out. just do it after you have looked at every thing else or you will have to let your eyes adjust again.

Enjoy the night!

Share The Joy

This weekend we were lucky enough to be able to spend some time with our friends Norm and Teresa and the kids Jess and Alyssa. As you have seen in other posts Jess began collecting Pez about a year ago and was looking forward to seeing Keith's collection. After looking at some of the special pieces that he has it was time to get out the tote of extras that Keith has amassed over the years. He had told us to share these with Jess and allow her to have anything she would like to expand her collection. After a few gentle nudges and some "here you gotta have this one" she ended up with shopping bag full of dispensers. Well now someone else understands what it means to do the "Pez Dance Of Joy". I hope that it lasts for a few days!

After the Pez tour was over we decided to go out for diner so we called a local restaurant and made reservations for 7:30. We arrived on time and at about 10 decided we better leave. I think we could have stayed another couple of hours just talking and enjoying the time together. Well there is always another day.

Wearing Many Hats

It was time to get some projects completed so today began by clearing everything off the deck. A couple of weeks ago we had replaced some bad deck boards so now it was time to repaint. After taping off and painting the edges the easy part was all that was left. Even though it was a hot day the deck was in the shade by the time I started rolling the paint. We will now let it sit and dry for a couple of days before we replace the furniture and plants.

Tonight we got out the museum curators hat and did some work on the Pez collection. As you remember we had entered a lot of Pez into our data base last week. These were still sitting out all over the place and needed to be sorted and placed into containers for storage. Of course the containers needed to be labeled so that we can find whatever we are looking for form time to time. Well I happy to say that everything is put away and the room is cleaned again. I guess it's time to go shopping for more!

I guess part of my motivation is that Norm, Teresa, Alyssa and Jessica are coming to visit this weekend. Jess began collecting Pez last year and Keith has helped her expand her collection. We wanted to be able to show her some of what he has so getting everything in order was a top priority. He also has some extra Pez he wants to share with her so these needed to be found as well. We sure are looking forward to this weekend.

The 4th Of July

Well the fourth was like so many others for us. Alan had to work Friday night, Saturday and Sunday. Even with that schedule we did find some time to party. On Saturday night we went up to Sunbury to party with some old friends from our days living in Danville. It was great to get away and visit with people we had not seen since the wedding. Even though it was almost 1am (late for the old folks ) when we returned home it was more than worth it.

As for news from the south, Keith has two more TDY's coming up over the next two months. He is going to Georgia for a joint Air Force Navy exercise sometime this month. Then in August he's off to Utah for a few days. I think I need to get him the old Willie Nelson song "On The Road Again".

He also plans to begin some classes at the local Community College sometime this fall. He has not made a final decision on the classes but he has a few weeks before he needs to do that. They can get him a schedule of class in the morning so that he can be to work by 1pm. This is just another benefit that he might as well take advantage of while he in on active duty.

PDOJ ( Pez Dance Of Joy )

In today's mail we received the Pez we had ordered last week. Among them were the new Disney fairies. Barb and I think these are really nice but think that most of the ones that kids open will have the wings broken off as they look very delicate. These are from Europe but we understand that they will be sold here later this year. It just means that for the crazy collectors you will need to buy another set when they are released here.

We also got the two Wall-E Pez and Gary the Snail from the SpongeBob series. These are also Europe releases but we don't when they might show up here. But since we still have a few on our needs list I guess we might just have to go shopping later this week.

A Pez Day

We finally took some time to get all the Pez that have been collected for the last few months entered into our collection database. Some of these included the Dale Earnhardt Jr #88, Pirates of the Caribbean and the second series of MLB.
Keith now has 1059 PEZ but this will go up soon as we have ordered the Disney Fairies and Gary the Snail which should arrive this week. He also added to his collection today when he was out shopping. He found one of the PEZ for Pets dispensers. These dispense dog treats but it's still a Pez product. There were two of these released so we are still on the lookout for another one. Speaking of looking for PEZ we also need a new Goofy that has large teeth. Of course looking for these is part of the fun of collecting.

Same Old Stuff

There is nothing that we would call exciting going on in our world, just basic household maintenance. Last week the garage door opener quit working so we decided to replace it with one of the quiet belt drives. After getting this installed the spring on the door broke so we had to have a new one made to fit. Needless to say what seemed to be an easy project became one of those homeowners " It Never Fails" moments.

We also decided that the old wooden landing at the bottom of the deck needed to be replaced. They had gotten so bad that we didn't even like to step on them. After shopping around we choose to use blocks and a slate look stone. They went in easier than we anticipated and after a couple evenings we finally had something we were happy with.

Now that Keith has been back in South Carolina for a couple of weeks he has put his name on a list to do another TDY in August. This one is just out west for a week or so but it would still be a nice trip. Since he's been home he has used some of his free time to finish restoring the shotgun that he began work on when he was home on leave. Now I need him to come home again so I get a chance to try it out.

We think we are current on the PEZ collection as we have the new MLB PEZ along with the Pirates of the Caribbean. We are missing Bruce the Shark and Gary the Snail but I'm sure we will come across them sooner or later. After all half the fun is in the hunt.

We are now looking forward to spending some time this weekend with some friends in Danville were we will be celebrating the graduation of their daughter. It's hard to believe that Kris did babysitting for her. We didn't realize Kris had gotten that OLD.

He's Back

After almost two months Keith is back to SC arriving about 10pm last night after almost 13 hours of travel. After spending today resting up he called tonight and we spent over an hour and a half talking about the things he did and saw while in Italy. It would be too much to write about all of it but here are some of the highlights.

While in Rome they spent a lot of time visiting many of the city's churches. Many of these buildings are over 400 years old and have many artifacts out for display. He said these were more interesting than many of the museums. They also enjoyed the many Roman ruins throughout the city. Of course no visit would be complete without seeing the Sistine Chapel which although ah inspiring was packed shoulder to shoulder. The biggest drawback is that everything is very expensive there. It cost about $6 for a bottle of water and diner ran about $45. If we think gas is bad theirs is around $9 per gallon.

Some of the other highlights were a ride on Italy's version of the Autobahn where travel reaches average speeds higher than we would like to think about. And then there is the picture above showing one of the many interesting traffic signs. Being a collector of military firearms he spent time looking at the many collections of weapons and armor from the middle ages. We know that he had a great time and will have memories that will stay with him forever.

Pez From Europe

We received a package from Keith that contained all the PEZ that he collected while in Italy. He sent them home so that he did not have to pack them for the flight home. After all the airlines are now charging for extra weight and baggage. Although some of these are available in the US they are on European cards which are not sold here. So it does add to the collection as a variation of a dispenser. I guess it only matters to a serious collector. Anyway we know some of you enjoy seeing some of the PEZ he collects so here they are.

Rome

For those of you who have been waiting here are some pictures that Keith
e-mailed to us today. We hope you enjoy them.

It never fails to amaze us the opportunities that the Air Force has given to Keith. This is the 10th Air Base that he has worked at over the last four years. He has been places like Vegas, the Gulf Coast, Salt Lake and now Italy. We just wonder what adventures still lay ahead for him.

Holiday Weekend

We continue to stay busy as there always seems that something needs to be done around here. The gardening keeps us going and it seems the lawn needs to be mowed every other day. With all this we did take Sunday off to relax and enjoy the day. Two the Kris' friends' Stacey and Karen, were down with her and Charlie for the weekend so Sunday night we had them all here for a cookout. We all had a good time talking about things that went on during the wedding an reception and all the fun everyone had.

Keith was going to Rome for the weekend but we have not heard from him yet. We are looking forward to seeing any pictures he took and hearing about his adventure. When we receive any of these we will post some to share with our readers. He is scheduled to come back to South Carolina on June 4 th. We are sure this will have been a trip that he will never forget. I wonder were his next TDY will be.

Still Looking At Pictures

Somehow we just don't seem to have any more time now than before the wedding. I guess the yard work takes up a lot of our free time as it seems that the yard needs to be mowed every three days or so. Who was the dummy that put weed and feed on the yard anyway? Well at least we get to enjoy some of the flowers that continue to bloom around the house. These are some of the early blooming Iris that we planted two years ago.

When there is some free time we continue to look at pictures but still have not printed that many as we are not sure what we want to do with them. We did print some and put them in a frame to take to Mom at the home. We wanted to make sure the folks there got to share the memories with her. It helps keep her focused on the present.

We also are working on and off on the scrapbook that we have been keeping for Keith since he went into the Air Force. It has not been worked on for a year as it was put aside for the wedding as well. Now with the wedding and the pictures he has sent from Italy it was decided we better get at this as well since we do not even have pages completed for his move last May..

Kris is as bad as we are. She wants to put an album together but still has Thank You's to finish and both her and Charlie have been working a lot of hours as well. They also are working on some home improvement projects that were put off for other things as well. Maybe we will all be caught up sometime this fall!! Then when someone asks to see pictures we actually can show them without going for the laptop.

Trieste

For those of you following along with Keith's travels he just sent us these pictures from Trieste. Trieste is on the eastern side the Adriatic Sea along the border with Slovenia. Just another tough day in the Air Force.

He also has found a couple more PEZ. He bought 3 Mickey Charity Edition tubes at a rest stop while out sightseeing.

Keith Called

We received a call for our world traveler tonight so for those of you who are interested in what he has been doing in Italy just keep reading.

His group has been working second shift and has had every weekend off since they arrived in mid April. They are staying on base at the base hotel so he has his own room but he does have to go to the lobby to use the Internet. Because it is one of the few wireless spots in the area he does not use it much. He said that it is very slow because so many people are using it. He is going to try to use it to send us some pictures tomorrow. We can't wait to see them and if we do receive some we will share them here.

Last weekend he and some friends traveled to Venice. He actually said they were disappointed as the city seemed dirty and there was a lot of graffiti everywhere. Today they traveled about an hour to the city of Florance. They did a lot of site seeing and visited some of the museums seeing a lot of Michelangelo's work including the statue of David. They enjoyed this city so much they are planning on going there again tomorrow. Actually they will be leaving in just a couple of hours as it is already Sunday morning there.

He has also done some shopping and of course purchased some PEZ on European cards. We knew he would be looking for some of these. Since he is now over 1000 dispensers it's our guess we are now starting on the road to 2000!

The Newlyweds

Kris and Charlie swim with the fishes

Charlie and Kris returned from there Honeymoon with some great pictures and I am sure wonderful memories. They were swimming with stingrays and dolphins. They did a zip line in the jungle and a lot of just plan sightseeing. And as with any cruise enjoyed a lot of great eating and entertainment.
They did however have a luggage problem more than once while on their trip. Their luggage was lost on the way to Florida and they did not get it until 3 days later when it caught up with their cruise ship. On the way home they flew to Philadelphia while their luggage took a flight to Baltimore. Oh well it's all good now!
Now for those who would like to see some pictures from the wedding you can use the link here to watch a 10 minute video made from pictures taken by all the photographers that day. Enjoy

Things To Do

We continue to be busy around here even when you think that we should have some free time. We did get to spend time with Kris and Charlie for the first time since the wedding. We went to Lancaster on Sunday and took Charlie out to supper for his birthday. After that we went back to their house we we downloaded all the wedding pictures to my laptop. Now I get to go over all these pictures to see which ones we think are the best ones. After a little work taking out all the duplicates we have it down to a little under 900 pictures to look at. From these we have picked about 100 or so that we think best captured the wedding and the reception. I am now trying to put these into a video that we can share with our family and friends. Since I was also given some audio files from one of the photographers I hope to cut these in with the video as well.

So keep watching. Hopefully we will have this video finished soon!!

Made It To Italy

We got a short e-mail from Keith today. The trip to Italy was fine and he did not lose any luggage. This is noteworthy because Charlie and Kris had luggage problems flying to Florida and back again. We are not sure how much we will hear from him as we don't know how much he will be working. We just hope he has some time to do some sightseeing. After all how often do you get an opportunity like this?

For those who are interested Keith is in the Pordenone region. This puts him close to Germany, Switzerland and not far from France.
